The proximity allowed us to explore with ease, whether visiting the iconic Cologne Cathedral or sampling treats at nearby cafes. As a history teacher, I particularly appreciated the hotel's situational charm, with views of the majestic cathedral from our room, providing a visual connection to the city's rich heritage. My daughter found the room's ambiance inviting; she loved peering out to spot the cathedral's intricate spires. We encountered some age-related décor-however, the spacious and clean room offered comfort for our small family. The staff was accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage after checkout, which made our last day in the city stress-free. While we didn't partake in breakfast, the local area is brimming with family-friendly dining options to explore. the nearby chocolate museum was a hit with my daughter, enhancing our family's experience. In summary, this hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere for families-conveniently situated, secure, and close to many attractions in Cologne.
